What is Veda?
Interactive service about how the world works. Here you can change the conditions in the models, observe the result and discuss your discoveries.
Is it free?
In the current version, all published experiments are opened for free.
At what age can you try?
«First discoveries» is designed for children aged 4–6 exploring with an adult. Older children and teenagers can try «Science around us». Let curiosity guide you as well as age.
Is registration required?
Experiments work without signing up. A parent account saves stickers and child profiles across devices.
Does it work on the phone?
Yes, the site opens in the browser of your phone, tablet and computer. For detailed viewing of three-dimensional scenes, a large screen is more convenient.
Can a child explore alone?
It’s better to be close to kids: read the question, offer your guess and let the child change the conditions himself. Older children can explore at their own pace.
The model does not load - what to do?
Check your connection and refresh the page. Try a modern browser with WebGL support or another device. Some experiments have a simple version available.
Why is there no sound?
Press “Listen” to start the narration. Check your device volume. The voice depends on the language and browser.
What is saved in the browser?
The list of open experiences is saved on this device. It can be deleted in the "Privacy" section. A child's account is not needed. The table of observations and the text of its explanations disappear when leaving the page.
Does it work without internet?
To download the site, models and voice acting you need the Internet. Full offline mode is not yet available.
How can I change my cookie choice?
You can reopen the notice and change your choice.
